INTERNATIONAL AWARD

2010 John Culkin Award for Outstanding Praxis in the Field of Media Ecology. 

• Awarded by the Media Ecology Association at their 2010 Annual Convention at the University of Maine. Space Times Square received the feature screening at the convention.

• Though this project was begun before the founding of the Center, the film features the work of two Center members (Olivia Antsis and Barry Vacker) and has received international recognition since the founding in 2011, including formal screenings in Brussels (2011) and Leon, Mexico (2019). The film was remastered in 2021.
